I am a web page designer and live in sunny Carlsbad.
CA. I spend most of my time right here at my computer. Programming and graphic design are what I do most of the time. I am also the owner of Wilkie Web Designs
. Here are some EXAMPLES of my work. I love my computer and spend a great deal of time programming and designing web sites. 
Music was my major back in college, but now I use a computer keyboard instead of a synthesizer. Used to be a professional musician as a lead vocalist and
also a multi-board keyboardist. Actually, I am very good. I was the Colorado State Music Champion the year I graduated High School. Won the Colorado Springs and Colorado State Championships for the Colorado State
Music Teacher's Association to get that honor (CSMTA). In addition, I was also chosen from national auditions to perform concerts all throughout Europe with the Universal Academy for Music from NYC.
As a professional musician I played around San Diego on the "Dance-Club Circuit" for many years, mostly playing the top dance club circuit in the San Diego area, but also
played every year at Whiskey Creek in Mammoth Lakes. My band SCARLET won Rock Wars in San Diego back in 1986. We were the top cover band in the city for a while back in the late '80s. See (Band Picture) We also had some terrific originals and 2
really great songs, "Dead Wrong, and "Take Me With You", that were played on the local San Diego radio stations like 91X and KGB 101.5. Sometimes I want to make an
MP3 and put those songs on the net just to see what would happen!
After getting rather burned out on the club scene, the lead guitarist, and I started our
own business. We sold precious gemstones, 14K gold and Sterling Silver jewelry at trade shows. I learned a lot but got tired of working for myself and the constant pressure of
doing every job ourselves. If you are a small business owner you know exactly what I mean.
My husband, who is very intelligent and seems to be able to understand the most difficult and complicated nuances of technology, became a High-level Account Executive
providing Storage Area Networks solutions for Fortune 500 companies. So he and I are very much into computers and new technology. Admittedly, we could have bought a
couple more cars and a house, but we like to spend our money on computer equipment and software. Not really, but we are definitely a computer family and each of the boys
have their own Pentium PC too. We are all set up on a high-speed DSL network and the kids can play games against each other.
